Puppen, Schleim und eine Prise Absurdität. Ein Bär und eine Ratte gehen auf einen psychedelischen Trip mit einer Überdosis Honig und Käse.
“Honig schmeckt mit allem und Käse schmeckt mit allem”. Mit viel kreativem Freiraum haben wir diese wahren Worte in eine Geschichte verwandelt, die voller Abenteuer und Phantasie in ihren Bann zieht.
Alles, was man im Video sieht, wurde bei uns im Studio von Hand gefertigt, angefangen bei den Punkrock-Puppen über den Honig-Wasserfall bis hin zum Käseschleim, der die Wände überzieht. In Kombination mit fachmännischem Compositing war es möglich, von der klassischen Handpuppen-Ästhetik zu einem modernen Stil zu gelangen, der ganz neue Möglichkeiten eröffnet. Wir haben während der Produktion eine Menge Interessantes gelernt – zum Beispiel, welches Schleim-Rezept die besten Blasen wirft. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Puppenabenteuer, das auf uns zukommt.
Puppets, slime and craziness. A bear and a rat go through a psychadelic trip on a honey and cheese overdose.
With loads of creative freedom, we developed a story that makes you believe that (as the lyrics say) “honey goes well with everything, and cheese goes well with everything”.
Everything you see in the video was crafted by hand, from the punk rock puppets to the honey waterfall to the cheese slime that coats the walls. Thanks to some expert compositing, we were able to expand the classic hand puppet aesthetic to a more modern style with a wide range of new possibilities. Combined with expert compositing, it was possible to move from the classic hand puppet aesthetic to a modern style that opens up whole new possibilities. We discovered a lot of tricks during the production – like what kind of slime makes the best bubbles – and we’re excited about the next puppet adventure that comes our way.
